We live on a wondrous spinning jewel; so fragile and precious is she.

Without the Sun
Without the Sun the Earth would be rather cold and rather barren.
All life would cease. Water no more. Living Earth would freeze and die.
Refrain: Celebrate the gift of Sun. Receive its energy. Enjoy the warmth,
the light,
the pow’r; food and drink for all come from the Sun.
Ev’ry thought and act and deed comes from the Sun, comes from the Sun.
In gratitude, with humble heart, we receive the Solar Blessing. How could we
see?
How could we be? How could we live without the Sun? (Refrain)

One with the Earth
When I was young I was afraid of creepy, crawly things; of bugs and bees and
snakes
and mice and all those natural beings; of spiders, bats and earth worms; I
feared them all.
No one ever told me I am one with all. (Refrain)
Refrain: One with the Earth. One with all Life. Love transformed my fears
when I realized that I am one with the Earth, One with all Life.
All my fears turned into trust when I realized.
I didn’t want to touch a toad for fear I’d get a wart. I didn’t want to pull
the weeds.
I didn’t like the dirt. I’d rather stay inside playing with dolls.
No one ever told me I am one with all. (Refrain)
As I matured my fears did too, including bigger things.
The wild creature I did fear the ones with fur and wings.
The human made me nervous, this I recall.

Earth Dance
I will dance from morning until night for the Earth.
I will dance in the moonlight for the Earth, for the Earth.
I will dance both pain and grief for the Earth.
I will dance with laughter and with joy for the Earth, for the Earth.
Gather with friends and family. Gather for every species.
Dance with heart and with soul for the Earth.

Green Growing Things
The forest and the trees, the green growing things, every plant and each
blade of grass, the redwood
and the oak, climbing vines and fragrant herbs help to cool our warming
Earth.
Think of the children not ourselves. What we do now impacts the future of
all on Earth.
Green growing things! Green growing things!
The world we leave behind doesn’t have to look so grim. Let’s reduce our
carbon footprint with trees. And may our yards and streets, may our cities
and our towns, flourish with green growing things. Don’t wait for others.
Grow green now! Where there’s a space plant some roots deep in the ground,
of Earth. Green growing things! Green growing things!
